Raj grew up in Virginia and earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia in 1992 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver College of Law in 1995. Deciding to make Denver his home, Raj joined Wedgle & Shpall, P.C. as a law clerk in 1994, became an associate in 1996, then continued as an associate with Wedgle & Friedman, P.C. and then Wedgle & Associates, P.C. Raj became a shareholder in 2002. His law practice with Rick Wedgle is now known as Wedgle & Kukreja, P.C. Raj's practice focuses primarily on domestic relations and commercial litigation, which includes some appellate practice. Raj's approach to the law is to promote the resolution of disputes so as to minimize the legal, financial and emotional impact on the client. Although Raj appears often in the Denver metro area courts, as well as some courts outside the Denver metropolitan area, he is also a firm believer in the use of other tools, including mediation and arbitration, to help resolve conflict and disputes between parties. Raj is a member of the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations.
