Rick is a Phi Beta Kappa
scholar who graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of California
at Berkeley in 1974. He returned to his native Denver and attended the
University of Denver College of Law. Upon graduation in 1978, Rick joined
a well-known Denver law firm where he remained until 1985. In 1985 Rick
formed his own law practice with Andrea Shpall, known as Wedgle &
Shpall, P.C., until 1998, when Rick and Brad Friedman joined their domestic
and commercial practices to form Wedgle & Friedman, P.C. After a
stint as Wedgle & Associates, P.C., Rick joined with his longtime
associate, Rajesh Kukreja, to form Wedgle & Kukreja, P.C. in 2002.
Rick brings a great amount of enthusiasm and energy to his law practice,
focusing primarily on domestic relations and commercial litigation,
while maintaining responsibility for the day-to-day management of all
litigation being handled by the law firm. Rick believes the key to effective
legal representation can be found in organization and tenacity, and
he has exceptional organizational skills, which he brings to play in
nearly every aspect of the legal practice. Since 1978, Rick has tried
hundreds of cases before juries and judges. Rick is a member of the
Colorado and Denver Bar Associations. Rick appears in Who's Who in American
Law.
