Rick is a Phi Beta Kappa scholar who graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of California at Berkeley in 1974. He returned to his native Denver and attended the University of Denver College of Law. Upon graduation in 1978, Rick joined a well-known Denver law firm where he remained until 1985. In 1985 Rick formed his own law practice with Andrea Shpall, known as Wedgle & Shpall, P.C., until 1998, when Rick and Brad Friedman joined their domestic and commercial practices to form Wedgle & Friedman, P.C. After a stint as Wedgle & Associates, P.C., Rick joined with his longtime associate, Rajesh Kukreja, to form Wedgle & Kukreja, P.C. in 2002. Rick brings a great amount of enthusiasm and energy to his law practice, focusing primarily on domestic relations and commercial litigation, while maintaining responsibility for the day-to-day management of all litigation being handled by the law firm. Rick believes the key to effective legal representation can be found in organization and tenacity, and he has exceptional organizational skills, which he brings to play in nearly every aspect of the legal practice. Since 1978, Rick has tried hundreds of cases before juries and judges. Rick is a member of the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations. Rick appears in Who's Who in American Law.
